Affiliated Members

"They are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes." (Rev 14:6)

The Community of the Beatitudes has members of all states of life. “Just as the three Divine Persons live in perfect communion without, however, either confusing or losing the character proper to each one, in the same way our communion [of the states of life] is oriented towards a dynamic unity, allowing each person to blossom in his or her own vocation” (Statutes, 8).

While there are lay members who are fully integrated into the Community through their own branch, there are further ways of involvement with the Community for those who cannot make a total commitment but want to be engaged in a more formal way as Affiliated Members:

Friends of the Lamb

The Friends of the Lamb are lay or cleric members of all ages who want to live according to the spirituality of the Beatitudes. Making an annual commitment, they express their desire to lead a life of regular prayer based on the Community’s liturgy and are committed to actively participating in the life and mission of the Community of the Beatitudes.

Disciples of the Lamb

The Disciples of the Lamb are young adults (ages 18-30) who choose Christ as the only Lord and Master of their lives. They meet together regularly in a community house and bear witness to their belonging to the Community through their faith and their concrete commitment in the Church and in society.

Fraternity of Secular Clerics

The members of this priestly fraternity are diocesan or religious priests who wish to live the spirituality of the Community in their place of mission. They meet in local fraternity with priests of the Community to live fraternal times and common missions.
