Trips & Retreats

While our activities are ever evolving, there are some events and trips that we organize on a regular basis. Do you want to join us for any of them? See below some of the opportunities that you can count on to happen recurringly.

Pilgrimages to Israel and France

Do you want to go on a pilgrimage across the Atlantic? We bring groups, sometimes young adults specifically, sometimes all adults, to Israel and France. Visit the places that Jesus lived and walked in, or visit Our Lady of Lourdes and many other beautiful places in Europe.

The next pilgrimage to France will take place on June 17-29.
The next pilgrimage to Israel will take place on October 3-17.

Easter Triduum, Pentecost, and New Year’s Retreats

Each year we invite young adults to join us for the main liturgical feasts of the Church year. During the Holy Triduum, we enter into the Passion, Cross, and Resurrection of Christ, from a Seder Meal on Wednesday of Holy Week to Easter Sunday. On Pentecost, we ask the Holy Spirit to renew us in the love of God. And we love to enter into the new (secular) year by starting in prayer and community celebration. Come experience the most solemn days of the liturgical year with us!

Mountain Retreats and Backpacking Trips

In the summer, we love to head to the mountains! Do you want to come with us and experience an adventure in the Rockies? Our Open Heaven retreat for young adults is a time of prayer, community, and fun at our Jesus our Hope Hermitage. We also go on backpacking trips, meeting God in His stunning creation and in the Eucharist each day. Our family camp is a way for families to come together in the outdoors and grow closer together in Jesus. And in August, we usually organize a hike up to the summit of Pikes Peak.

College Missions

We organize retreats and help facilitate pilgrimage experiences for college students to discern the Lord’s will for their life.  We also go on mission to college campuses where we can share the good news of the Gospel through lectures and praying with students!

World Youth Day Trips

World Youth Day (WYD) offers young people a lively and joyful experience of faith and communion, a space to experience the beauty of the face of God. Since at the heart of a life of faith is our encounter with Jesus, every WYD should resound with the invitation for each young person to meet Christ and enter into a personal dialogue with him. For every WYD, we organize a trip for young adults.

The next World Youth Day trip will take place in the summer of 2027. We will publish more information on the Events page when we have them.

Rose Petal Evenings

Every year, we organize a rose petal evening around the feast day of St. Thérèse of Lisieux (October 1). Celebrate with us this French Carmelite nun who became a great saint through her “Little Way,” bring flowers to her and let her speak a word of comfort to you.
